Ok so first off dr google said this is mrsa is it?!? Ive got a boob abcess following mastitis and thats the bacteria they found draining it. Im not going to die or end up deformed am i?!

Also ive seen staphy aureas folliculitis, now my dps dr said that he has thisi ended up itchy and scratchy too but thought it couldnt br folliculitis because its not contagious, my dr prescribed stuff for scabies! My body has just given birth and is now falling apart piece by piece.could i have got the abcess from te folliculitis if its the same bacteria?

Witb the abcess ive had it drained twice, it bruised last time, its still a massive lump but a layer of skin came off like when you have a sunburn blister and pus was oozing out the needle holle. I got as much out as i coulld, better out than in i thought, is this sounding like its on the road to recovery yet?

Im having no more kids if this is what happens, i think its karma because the pregnancy snd the baby have been so easy.

No idea I'm afraid, just bumping for you.. I hope you know by now.

I don't know anything about the abscess but do about staphylococcus aureus.

Staph aureus is a bacteria that can often be found on the human skin and in tge respiratory tract. MRSA is a strain of staph aureus that is resistant to certain (methicillin based) antibiotics, so just because they've found Sa doesn't mean it's MRSA.

Normally Staph aureus isnt pathogenic (disease causing) but it can cause skin infections in some people, including cellulitis folliculitis and abscesses. I would assume that because they have isolated it from you that is causing your abscess but that isn't necessarily the case as staph aureus is often present on skin anyway.
If it is S.a then normal antibiotics should treat it and you won't die. It's quite a common infection causing bacteria

Oh and if your DH has folliculitis, the staph aureus won't have necessarily come from him. Its likely that it was already on your skin or in your tissue as it often is normally harmlessly
