Just ahd a small filling done, mouth still numb!

is there a certain time before I can eat or drink?

Am all trembly...HATE the dentist!!! (actually he was very nice lol)

If it is a small filling I would say it is fine to eat and drink (i assume it must be a least 30 minutes since you had it done so even if it is a silver (amalgam) filling it is wellon its way to being set. I would just be careful you don't bite or burn yourself due to the numbness.

IIRC you shouldn't chew on that side for at least 2hours. You can drink as soon as you feel comfortable - you're less likely to dribble than you think.

he just did a smal needle as the filling was very small, but I just felt it a few times when being drilled

I was so tense I thought I wasn't going to be able to move!!

He is so nice and has a tv screen above your head when you are lying down with a quiz on and things to read lol
