DTs occasionally, have break outs of excema, but have never taken them to the gps as sudorcreme normally is good enough to clear it up, but now DT1 has a large excema patch on her face, that just wont go, so can I buy one over the counter, that is suitable for a 2 yr old, and ok to use on the face?

You can buy E45, Doublebase, Aqueous (all emollients) over the counter, or even just off the shelf at most supermarkets. Try one of them first, if not you may need a very mild steroid cream, usually 0.5% hydrocortisone, which you'll need to get on prescription. Hope that helps

E45 and aquous cream are pretty rubbish and can actually make eczema worse. you should be able to get epaderm, but you would be cheaper to get a prescription for anything cause you monsers get it free.
Phone and ask for one, they really dont need to be seen to be prescribed epaderm.
Other mnrs swear by aveeno. If the eczema looks sore, a mild steroid wouldn't go a miss. The chap has 2% on prescription he is 9 months so I'm sure that 0.5 would be fine for the twins.
