Done a little bit of research and I think it's pulsatilla I'm meant to use. Does anyone know is it 6C or 30C I need and an idea of dosage for a 2 1/2yr old???

dd has had recurrent conjunctivits for the last month. I need to get rid of it as when she was a baby it developed into menengitis and the doctors haven't been able to reassure me that it wouldn't happen again but she has had two different lots of drops now plus oral antibiotics and as soon as she finishes them it comes back - just like her ear infections last year.

Any help appreciated, or any other remedies I could try...........

TIA Smile

30c for something acute like this i think. 3-4 times a day til it clears i think.

there is a theory (zebras i think) that if you leave the gunk and stop wiping it away it clears up a lot quicker. make sense to me but easier said than done.

if she is no longer taking antibiotics, i think thuja helps clear the ill effects...

sure a homeopath will be along soon. if you're desperate the homeopathic helpline is v good if expensive (£1.50 a minute or something but they try to be v quick and get you off the phone as quickly as poss).

We have always (on advice of a friend who's very into herbal remedies) used an infusion of fennel seeds for gunky eyes. You infuse it in a pan for about 10 mins (1/2 cup water, good heaped teaspoon of fennel seeds), then keep it in an airtight container in the fridge and sponge on with cotton wool as needed.
