Natural remedy for mood swings?

merlin · 05/11/2012 13:25

Have just turned the big 50, no signs of menopause yet- periods still regular etc but think my moods are worse- or maybe I'm just turning into a crotchety old bag!

Any recommendations for something to take? Or perhaps a multi function supplement for ladies of my age hat covers everything- joints, moods, general well being?

Thanks.

I'm with you in this merlin, 52 approaching fast and - bar a few warning shots across the bows - no sign of menopause in sight. My mother didnt start until she turned 55 (and I didnt start my periods until 14) so suspect it will a while longer yet.
I started getting the mood swings and occ sweatiness though... taking menopace and excercise 3-4 times a week seems to have held back the worst of things. It might be worthwhile having a well-woman check with your GP, bloods that sort of things to give you a clearer pic of what's happening.

oops forgot - take omega 3 oils with Vitamin E as well

merlin · 06/11/2012 16:38

Thanks 15th- no sweats here. Is literally just my general crabbiness! I had looked at Menopace- I wonder if I could take it even though I don't have full on symptoms?
