Can anyone recommend firm pillows that keep their shape?

My mum struggles to sleep due to aching. She thinks she might be able to sleep better if she was half propped up. She has a V-shaped pillow but woud like some normal ones that really keep their shape well. Can anyone recommend a particular brand please?

I've got ones from John Lewis that are Dunlopillow Latex ones and they are great!

Really firm and they hold their shape well. I've had mine for ages now and have even washed them in the machine and they came out fine.

Not cheap but absolutely brilliant!

I've just bought a memory foam pillow from Dunelm which is wonderful. It's their own brand and I can't praise it enough. Not the cheapest in the world (£24.99) but I don't need another pillow now. It's not hot (I've tried others that are) and it does fit in a standard pillow case.

I'd second memory foam, it has really helped with my neck pain.

I second the dunlopillow suggestion. I absolutely love mine. I'd advise doing some research on which one to get though, you need the thickness/height to be right

Dunlopillow Super Comfort latex pillows, expensive (about £40 each) but I honestly can't sleep without one.

Dunlopillow latex again. Freaking awesome, and will last for literally decades without losing shape. Slow to dry when you wash them, though.

I'm another Dunlopillo fan. I've used them all my life, so comfortable and firm!

Dunlopillow here too.

tempur ombracio it's a wonder pillow. I'm not sure if you can buy it in the uk though. It's designed for people that sleep on their front but is very nice if you sleep on your side as well. If I don't use it my neck gives me abuse.

I have a memory foam pillow from Dunelm but it's dearer, at £40 (my Chirstmas present to me last year). It's quite a weight but I wouldn't be without it, it's firm yet soft and holds its shape even when titled on an angle (for example if I have a cold and need to raise my head).

Well worth the money. In Dunelm you can walk along the pillows and give them a feel as well, as they have sample pillows, before you buy.

I also have a memory foam one which is the best pillow I've ever had. My neck and upper back pain is the best it's ever been. I got it from Chiltern Mills but can't remember the make.
