gave me motilium solution,
she got it tongiht and she just vomitted everything up.
her appetite has got better since last week but no great shakes.
i now have come up with reflux - tea at 6, then bed , lying down , food comes back up?

It sounds to me more likely that she is taking a while to shake off the bug and when she lies down at night the acid from the food in her stomach agravates and makes her sick.

Older children (and adults of course) do suffer with reflux, (and yes, in my experience, it can be bad at night) but I think you would have had other symptoms by now.

Continue to give the Motilium. Give it about 15 mins before food and at bedtime (up to 4 times a day) dosage as you were advised. It helps to move the food through the body faster so there is less sitting in the stomach to come back up.

Good luck. And let us know how she gets on...

rang doc this morn and suggested reflux (at night, only one vomit and lying down) and he hmmm'd and said y es a possibiity but unusal. so i put forward what i found last night on web, after exteneded vomitting reflux can occur, so she is having the infant gaviscon at the mo as well as the motilium. he didnt sound to annoyed !
she ate like a horse today, so i'm hoping tonight theres no vomitting.

if not it may be hospital tom

no vomiting last night, and i put it down to the gaviscon, i definitely think there was a little bit of relfux after all the vomiting last week.

doc seemed happy this morn.

When DD was about 18 months she caught a nasty bug and was sick every night for a whole week, was really worrying at the time but it was just a bug.

Sympathy to you Smile
