My 6.5 mo dd is showing all signs of teething, even though no signs of teeth. Since yesterday am she is really off food and her bottle and in fact since midday yesterday has had one little pot of fromage frais and less than 5 fl oz of milk/water - most of which Ive had to spoon feed her as sucking on bottle seems to upset her.
No temp and doesnt seem unwell or dehydrated yet but any tips? Tried gel, powder, calpol, cold teethers, my finger etc but just really irritable. When would I need to go to A&E (cant get gp appt now)

My ds is 7 months today. He went through a really bad bout of teething two weeks ago (although no teeth appeared) but he too went right off his food and milk. He has started to eat a little better now but like you i was totally unsure what to do. I was lucky if I got 1 oz into him. I asked hv and she said not to worry but I couldnt help it, I felt I was force feeding him.
I just gave him a dream feed at 10 when he was asleep which he seemed to take but he did start waking at 3 for a feed also.
I also gave him anbesol for his gums which is strong but had to buy it over the counter at boots.
I am hoping his eating will level out again as it is a bit erratic right now (little and often seems to be what he likes) but this might be because he has reflux.
Sorry not much help, let me know how you get on at the docs. You could ask your docsto call you they should have a duty doctor on who will give advice. If they are worriedthe duty doc should check you dd over.

i can strongly recomend Ashton and Parsons teething powder you can get it from most pharmacys its a herbal remedy i think.my dds also went off food while teething i think it is common. cool drinks are helpful so she has some fluids in her. also raw carrots frozen for her to suck/chew on are soothing. if you are really worried then take her to the docs hope all is ok.
