Can not work this one out ! I sometimes suffer from what they have decided is ibs,and had been fairly uncomfortable since the day before.I was happily browsing when I noticed my legs were shaking, left more than right.I ignored it for half an hour or more than felt the need for the toilet (tmi now) I must have looked a bit strange because they let me use the staff one.On the toilet my legs shook violently for 15 mins and the bm was soft with loads of mucous and gunk.(sorry) I then felt a bit better but my legs still shook for another half an hour.
Don't suppose it's connected but I've had coccyx pain last couple of weeks which I've never had before.
It is very strange, anyone got any ideas?

My flexi-sigmoidoscopy was done privately about 40 miles away and showed clear, but later bowel sample etc. eventually showed cancer, so it is worth seeing a doctor about this. Really hope you get a diagnosis soon.

Thank you showtime, I hope you are fully recovered.
No appointment yet.
Btw, my grandad had bowel cancer in his 60s and delayed going to the docs for years, by the it was too late.

The GPs wonder why people dont go to the surgery? If you are treated like that too often you are not likely to want to go again are you?
Have had very judgemental lady doctor talk to me like I was 15years old and Iwas 60! will never go back to her again.
Try and see the Dr you have a connection with

I know, that's why I just rang the gp's secretary and asked for a referral privately. And that last appointment was with my favourite gp in the practice! I thinks I've had quite a few referrals and I've cost them too much already.
Thanks.

Don't know if anyone is still following but here's another update. Went to a funeral on thurs and had done normal milk in tea when I usually have lactofree. Also, as there was nothing I could eat there I ended up having some chicken which had a dusting / powdery coating. By that evening my whole abdomen was really tender to touch. Its still like it now. Had diarrhoea thurs night and Friday morning. X2 but nothing since.
Went to another gp( I didn't care which one) yesterday and explained and he said I need to see a gastroentlogist I told him I'd been referred to one last week, he checked and said I had not. I told him I want to go private because I don't want to wait any longer.
When he examined me he said it was lower right quadrant that was worse. To me it just hurts everywhere.
And to top it all off, I've got a sinus infection. Feel like shit.

Forgot to say, he thinks it's coeliac I was tested last year but was on a gluten free diet. I'd say I'm gluten free 98% of the time but maybe I'm not as careful as I think.
My belly is sore. It even hurts to stand up and do a wee.

So sorry to hear you're still feeling so unwell. I hope you get your referral and start to feel better soon.

l4k · 29/09/2012 15:58

Thank you Belly is a bit less painful now but still hurts. Ive just had a little sleep but still got no energy. Hope I feel better tomorrow. The dc are entertaining themselves today, thankfully.

Just wondering if wiggofan is still around? You said you have coeliac and I'm hoping for some more advice, please.
My abdomen is still painfully tender , can eating a small amount of gluten hurt for this long? It was thurs pm.
Or anyone else with coeliac?
Thanks.
