If a child might have had chicken pox mildly as a baby

would it be harmful to vaccinate against it 6 years later?

I know blood tests can check immunity - this would be much more unpleasant for the child than just having the vaccine though!

It is a normal vaccine where we live and I declined it, but have had a re-think and am going to get her brothers vaccinated (they have never been exposed due to being born and lived in a region where it is on the regular vaccination schedule) but am now in 2 minds about DD because she had it as a baby - the doctor did confirm it, but only with a cursory glance and agreement I should keep her away from other children for a week or so; she only had a few spots, so I know given age and mildness she might not be immune.

I will ask the doctor when I take the boys, but dd would not even need to come to the apt unless I am planning on getting her vaccinated, so wonder what the answer is, and will get it confirmed by the doctor.

The vaccine on top of some residual immunity will not be harmful. And FWIW, my son had chicken pox at 6 months and again at 2.5 years.
