Itchy, ahem, ladybits - but not thrush?

Since Friday evening I've had very uncomfortable itchiness around my pubic hair. I thought at first it might be an odd thrush thing (I get it every now and again) but it's not inside IYKWIM, just around the skin around the hair. I've also been putting on thrush cream for 3 applications now and no difference at all. Usually I think I'd see some improvement by now if it were thrush.

It happened after a very hot day where I was out and about and did get a bit sweaty. I was also wearing underwear which was high %age cotton but not 100%. I have in the past got thrush from synthetic underwear and do have sensitive skin.

Could it be some kind of heat rash/uncomfortableness from getting hot? I would have thought 3 days later it would be improving though Hmm . FWIW I also have been going to the gym alot in recent weeks wearing the not 100% cotton knicks - maybe it's a build up effect but Friday just tipped it over, but haven't noticed anything before.

Just so as not to drip feed I also have pain when going for a wee today, but I think that's unrelated to itchy issue - it's just as I didn't go to the loo until I was bursting a few times yesterday and when I hold on too long I seem to get this the next day and have to drink alot (and wee alot!) and then usually it goes away .

I have tried googling this but with limited success. Has anyone had this/know what it might be/if there's anything I can do?

no ohem there's 2 of us here with the issue - I had the smear and I'm not pg!

Still no help on the issue but it's been up and down the past 2 days. Sometimes it feels normal and other times (esp after a shower) it's really uncomfy. I spoke to DH about it. He said recently he had a week of really bad itching on the top of his pubic hair I thought at the time it was an excuse for fondling himself Blush . He said it felt like he needed to itch all the time. I'm not sure if it's connected or not but could be something. Fingers crossed it hasn't been as bad as it was so I'm madly hoping it goes away. Thanks for asking Grin

wanna how's yours?
