Can you catch chickenpox even if you're supposed to be immune?

DS has just getting over chickenpox. I had a blood test as I'm pregnant, it came back as having immunity but today I've got a sore throat/ general achiness (no spots though). I don't think I could have picked up a bug as I've pretty much been in with DS for a week, he's no longer infectious (spots mainly gone remainder blistered over- mild case). I was planning to go out but should I wait and see what develops? Or am I being overly cautious?

I always thought it'd be better when you were pregnant, I have no idea why though. Ah well hopefully it's just a bug and I'll shake it off

I would imagine that if you were not immune then the test would have noted this...immunity generally means you're not able to get it again.
Some people have it once and then tests show that they are not actually immune iyswim...you're not one of those.

I had a similar thing happen when my children had chicken pox, and was afraid it meant I was getting it but it was just a cold.

Being immune might not mean that your body doesn't produce some kind of reaction to exposure though - like, a fight response iyswim. I am guessing, here, as I'm not trained in medicine but perhaps you are just fighting it off or something.

Hope you are fine x
