On Thyroxine- how do you manage breakfast?

starting the tablets tomorrow and am v.scared as had a bad reaction last time I tried thyroxine. Anyway I'm confused about breakfast- all the leaflet says is "On an empty stomach" but I've read here that you can't have food for an hour (or is it two?) and no dairy products for two hours (or is is three? )
I'm usually starving when I wake up, so how do you manage waiting ages to even have a cup of tea, and then in fact no tea as no dairy? I usually have gluten-free muesli for breakfast, with milk, and a cup of coffee, with milk. Soya milk is out too isn't it? And I can't have oatmilk because its not gluten-free. Am vegetarian too. What can one eat? And how soon after the tablet?
My GP mentioned that some people take their pill at night- is that an option then? (says morning on the leaflet)
Ta!

I didn't know there was an endocrine clinic. So possibly she might refer me, I'm not sure. I don't feel about to collapse like I did on the armour, but I do definitely feel worse, and I am only taking half a 25mg tablet a day. Now I feel as though I've had strong coffee to keep me awake, jittery and panicky, but I am at the same time really shattered. Our builder is coming in the morning to do our kitchen and I am supposed to have decided all sorts of things but I can't think straight. Then first thing in the morning all I want to do is to be left to sleep, I feel much more exhausted in the mornings than prior to starting the thyroxine. I've only been on it a week, and the dose is so low, I don't understand why I feel so rough.
