Bananas are safer. (Also less painful coming back up, if it comes to that.)

Have you had fluids and kept them down?

misdee · 02/03/2006 11:43

have kept fluids down all morning (water and weak juice)

Bananas still safer, if you can stomach them.

If you really want toast, white, no butter etc, if possible.

Shaunofthedead · 02/03/2006 11:45

you are better off with dry toast actually as bananas are quite hard to digest.
or rich tea biscuits, bread with no butter.

not sure if i have bananas atm. just want to stop the growling my stomache is now making. also gasping for a cup of tea, but i know thats a no-no.

i will. kids want food as well now. they also have stopped being sick.

you want bland, easily digestable foods and plenty of clear fluids until you are confident that the bug has passed out of your system.

Why is tea a no-no?

Weak black tea is good - mild antiseptic properties and all that.

Otherwise - how about cream crakers or (better) dry salty pretzels.

Blueberries (especially lightly cooked) are easiest to digest fruit.

cos i have milk in my tea. Smile

are hulahoops ok? (the only thing ihave in atm) as they are the original ones. what about marmite?
