I have had few weeks of bad hay fever, conjunctivas (because of hay fever), mouth ulcers now full on chesty coughing and colds (whole family)

shit weather not helping...

I am generally quite a healthy person, so being like this is rubbish, other than healthy diet, extra sleep (insomnia sufferer too!) multivitamins, what can I do to boost mine and the dc's immune systems quickly? all suggestions appreciated.

thanks!

Sounds like you are doing all you can. I'm probably stating the obvious but we had a run of ill health two years ago: whole family had endless tummy bugs, conjunctivitis, excema etc. This is how we got over it and stayed over it:

Lots of raw veg/juices; chicken soup if you're not veggie. Have 8-10 not 5 portions of fruit & veg per day. Drink 2 litres of water every day to flush out toxins. Go easy on wheat, caffeine, sugar and alcohol as they can really run you down. Some people find this is also true of dairy, so stick to easy to digest stuff like organic chicken, veggies, rice and fish.

Boil wash all towels and facecloths; deep clean house with very hot water and a bit of Zoflora or Dettol to kill off germs.

Also meditate and visualise health in your family. May sound a bit nutty but we are what we think. If we think gloomy thoughts, we feel down. If we think about pure health and vitality - who's to say that doesn't stimulate the antibodies we need to fight off germs.

Vitamin C, vitamin D (preferably from sunshine if we ever get any!) and echinacea tea. Plenty of home cooked wholesome meals, fresh veggies and fruit (raw is better than cooked) and plenty of rest. Gentle exercise, fresh air and lots of laughter :)
