Freezing cold feet, numb in places, any ideas?

Had a Doppler test this morning to check arterial circulation, which appears to be fine. BUT my feet actually hurt they are so cold, and there is numbness/tingling developing in certain areas. Am having blood tests on Thursday. Am otherwise fit and healthy - don't smoke. Anyone got similar/have any idea what could be causing it?

Raynauds? B12 deficiency? Anaemia? Underactive thyroid?

I suffer from 3 of the above (not Raynauds), and have freezing cold white feet and hands. B12 deficiency can cause numbess and tingling if untreated. Hopefully the blood tests will reveal if it's any of these.
Good luck Smile

Thanks Zen, yes the blood test is checking those things, plus diabetes I think. Don't think it's Raynaud's,as my hands don't go white, tho the nurse this morning did say my toes didn't have much colour. It's not nice, is it! I'm having to wear thick sexy socks in bed.

No, not nice at all. I have a lot of hot baths just to get warm and often have a hot water bottle even in summer. We have the heating on at the moment, even though the rest of the family don't feel cold. I find that wearing extra clothes doesn't work for me, as once I am cold I stay cold!

Ridiculous, isn't it. I've got numbness/odd sensation up the side of my big toes and across the top of my feet, which has only happened recently. Hopefully blood tests will show what's going on. Not a big deal in the scheme of things, but uncomfortable! Thanks for your post.
