Food poisioning without diarrhea

I went out for lunch yesterday, came home and started feeling really sick. Then, my stomach literally exploded. Blush I'm having crampy pains, horrific diarrhea and some nausea but no sickness. I suppose it could be a bug but it seems a little too coincidental. My friend who I went with has been feeling ill but not as bad as me. However, I'm on immunosuppressants so I tend to get everything pretty badly. Is it possible I have food poisioning or just a coincidental bug?

Ok can you tell I'm sleep deprived, I meant food poisoning without sickness.

I was awake all night on the toilet. Blush

Anyone please? I'm still ill, bit worried about it tbh. Perhaps GP is needed.

Pretty sure you can have food poisoning without vomitting - i've had exactly what you described after some dodgy shellfish. Keep yourself hydrated.

I had something similar the weekend before last.
I had a kebab on friday night, stomach went slightly dodgy at bed time with cramps but seemed better over night, then the next evening I started shivering, bad diarrhea and ended up in bed for 24 hours with no sickness. I am sure it was the kebab. I normally have a cast iron stomach and very rarely get stomach bugs. Nobody else in the family or anyone I knew got it so I am sure it was the kebab I had the night before.

Meant to say nobody else in the the family had the kebab either, we all ate at different places that night.
