Help! Dd has 4 very wobbly teeth but one of them has gone black

2 of them are literally hanging on by their root (or whatever it is) and one of them (at the front) has started to go grey/black. Do I need to worry about this - these are her first wobbly ones?

oh and what's the going rate for the tooth fairy? (dd very excited about this!)

mistymoo, it's a sad fact that dentist are no longer obliged to treat anyone on the NHS.

They don't do injections, as they feel it would be more traumatic......so said my dentist before doing 2 on DS2. DS2 now has to be seen at the dental hospital as he's too scared to be treated at a normal dentist ( to be slightly fair, he did have issues with things in his mouth prior to the dentist)

can't offer any words of wisdom I am afraid...bump for chicagomum ( a dentist and free on MN!)

Hope all well with teeth today

Tooth fairy here gives £2 for first tooth and £1 for any others after that. Not sure what she'd do if two fell out together. Guess your dd would make a good sum if they do!!!

an update (as we have made the home page!)

the black bit in the middle looks like it was a bit of dead root or something because after a day, it has gone and the gum is a little grey but it does look as though the big tooth is coming underneath.

The other dangly one is now hanging on, literally by the root and is going grey like the other tooth did!

The top two are still v wobbly but unless she bites into something hard, I think they'll survive till next week.

Oh and the tooth fairy bought one pound and sprinkled both children (ds and dd share a room) with fairy dust!
