Any dermatologists out there?

I noticed some weird blemishes on my hand yesterday. Not sure how long they've been there.

The main one is an oval shape, about 1cm long. It's very light brown and is almost the same colour as my (slightly sun-tanned) hand. It's flat and you can still see the normal lines of my hand through it if that makes sense: it basically looks like a tiny part of my hand got more suntanned than the rest. The centre is ever so slightly lighter but not much.

I've also got similar blemishes by my wrist, although they're not as obvious. They're all different shapes and sizes and again are all flat.

I have a fungal rash on my chest/torso which I've had for ages. I put Dibrobase on it when it gets bad which seems to sort it. The marks from this are the same sort of shape as the ones on my hand, but less brown (more orange) and more obvious (although obviously my chest isn't tanned at all). Could this be related?

I'm 30 so it seems a little early for liver/sun spots??

Any thoughts?

Oh should add that there's no itching/pain/bleeding.

I think they could be what's called liver spots or sun spots.

At the age of 30? Isn't that really early.. (although sun spots was my first thought...)?

chloasma? Look it up and get images and maybe you'll recognise. Some women seem to get it in pregnancy or when on the combined pill, so hormone related, tends to afflict those with browner skins more than fairer. So not 'too young' if that's what it is. Just caused by pigment in skin. If oyu don't like, then trick is to cover up, use high factor sunscreen, don't sunbathe etc. But no inherent problem in having it.

It does look a lot like chloasma actually. I've had one child and just had a v early miscarriage so could well be hormone related. Thanks.
