Food sensitivity test

Just curious to know if anyone has any experience with food sensitivity testing and how they found it? I've been feeling really tired (I mean exhausted) for the last few months. My diet isn't too bad and I take regular exercise in the fresh air. I've had various blood tests done by the GP and they have showed nothing.
A colleague in work has recently been for a food sensitivity test, for much the same reasons, and was advised that caffeine and dairy are the triggers for her, so she is working to reduce/eliminate them. She is trying to convince me to go for the test, but I'm not sure.
Can anyone offer any experience/words of wisdom that might help??

If you are talking about the tests where you take a small pin prick of blood, or a hair sample, and send it through the post to York labs etc DON'T- complete waste of money.
Myself and my son both have intolerances and have seen some of the best consultants in the UK for this. They will tell you that those tests are useless. They can give false positives etc etc.

If you really want to see if food is a trigger than you should pay to see a dietitian or an immunlogist with sepcialisms in food intolerance. if you are near London or the south west I can give you names.

You would be put on an exclusion diet where you eat very little then gradually add more foods to test your reactions.

There are blood tests via your GP which can test for coeliac disease and other consultants cna test for other things- my son is intolerant to dairy and fish for example but can eat a little- they give him eczema- but he had the tests vai a consultant dermatologist in a hospital.
