Ganglion? Advice please

DD (12) has developed a lump on her wrist just below her thumb joint. I've tried to get a GP appointment but the next available non urgent appt is 1st June!

I've googled and it really looks like a ganglion. She's complaining it's sore but has full movement and no other visible swelling.

Anyone have experience of this? Can I treat it with anything meantime?

Thanks in advance :)

My sister had one and her friend said "bash it with a bible", diss laughed but next day fell over and bashed her wrist and magically ganglion disappeared - so it DOES work Grin

I've got one at the moment. If I bend my hand it looks hunchbacked Grin

Ir's definitely shrinking now of it's own accord.

I've had one for a couple of years. It's just disappeared. Never did anything about it.

Yes my 4 year old dd had one on her wrist last year. It disappeared on its own after a few months.
