Liquid iron can help
Think it's fluoradix

Or a light machine/ alarm clock thing

Or multi vitamins

Or a good diet of fresh fruit, veg, lots of water, no convenience food, alcohol, fags no fun

Rhodiola Rosea - you must get the Rosea variety.

A decent quality multivitamin/mineral - Multibionta is good.

Vitamin B Complex.

If you think your iron is low then try Spatone or Minidex Tonic (for kids).

Cut out refined sugar and as many carbs as you can manage. Try to eat healthily.

Don't rely on caffeine to keep you going, but a well timed cup of coffee might help when you're flagging, just don't overdo it.

As little sugar as you can manage.

have you tested your thyroid?

mercibucket · 06/05/2012 22:51

Darn someone beat me to it

Thyroid test - tsh to be below 2.5 not just 'normal'

High dose vit d, iron, b complex, magnesium (try the spray) and zinc might all help

Yes don't just accept 'you are normal' brush off. Ask for the exact results, write them down and then do your own research as to weather you are 'normal' or not!

ACoiledThing · 07/05/2012 09:02

merci - yes to everything you say. I am in the "watchful waiting" thyroid category - my tsh is within current guidelines but higher than 2.5. I am also taking vitamins D, B and magnesium in an attempt to improve my energy levels. Can't honestly say if I'm seeing any difference yet but it is early ish days!

Regular swimming and/ or outdoors activity such as vigorous walking, gardening etc would help too.

What a pita! So what is your t4 and do you have antibodies? It's so so crap the way this condition is treated

Berocca

When I'm not pg I have one every morning. High levels of vitamins and minerals in them.
