Overactive thyroid drugs- please help

In a nutshell, I've been diagnosed with post partum overactive thyroid, dd2 is 6 months. I have been symptomatic for a few months and I think I need to give in and get some drugs for it. Are there any meds for it that won't upset my tummy? This is one of my symptoms and I'm fed up of it, along with the anxiety and tremor. I would be so grateful for any advice from fellow thyroid sufferers. Many, many thanks :)

Have you been to see the endo, because they should have prescribed you carbimazole.

I've seen an endo but symptoms had subsided a bit that week so he didn't prescribe it, also my T3 and T4 only slightly high but I'm having horrible symptoms- non existent TSH though. I am looking into whether hypoglycaemia may play a part in this. I have had the symptoms for this for years and years...totally fed up!

I was given Carbimazole for the hyperthyroid and propranolol (beta blocker) for the shakes and anxiety. I don't know about them upsetting the stomach though, one symptom out of a long list that I didn't have. My T4 (I think) was way over, something like 76 when it should have been around 19. They started working within a week or two.

I have heard (from another forum I go on) that sometimes you have to grab the doctor by the metaphorical collar and make them give you medication. What level may be fine for one person, may be wrong for another and make them feel just rubbish.
