Ok, so DS is just getting over chickenpox. If DD doesn't contract it, what does that mean?

DS is 15 months, spots are just scabbing over. DD is 3.5 years and so I should imagine has been exposed to chickenpox numerous times, what with nursery and friends etc. and now with DS.

She has no sign atm of any spots. She was poorly a couple of weeks ago, nothing I could put my finger on, just out of sorts and was sick once, v tired all the time etc.

Could she have had chicken pox then, without any outward sign?

I agree Socci - my DS got it really badly, but DD was not nearly so bad.

Oh yes, even if she has had 5 spots, that's it - just by way of warning though, apparently I had it very mildly as a child, then got it again a year or so later.

At last! I can't believe it took so long tbh. Now all you need to find out is, can K carry it and give it other people in his class?

And Iim still waiting
DS2 had it about a month ago, no sign of DS1 getting it. Is it possible to be immune without having had it iykwim?

I'll meet you in the playground after school on Monday. I won't be there in the morning as I have to take the dog back to the vets, but I'll be there in the afternoon.

R should still be contagious then shouldn't she?

Agree with Socci too-your dd has surely had it without you realising so thats a good thing.

I have never been aware of having chicken pox but i MUST of had it at some point!

MrsMills · 16/02/2006 10:15

He's been looking in the mirror for spots but ends up really disappointed because there aren't any.

I've 'bigged' it up,so he can't wait
