Breast pain-not pregnant and not breastfeeding

My breasts hurt. I dont know if its 'normal' pain or not. If my son accidentally leans on me or puts any pressure on my bust I cry out in pain :( This happens most days-its kind of hard to avoid themBlush

I am 27 and have one son, I use the inplant in my arm for contraception. I was diagnosed some years ago as having lumpy breasts (not technical term Wink ) and I was advised to regularly check them for lumps which I do do but wether as I used to do them after my period im obviously not having them now since i had my inplant (feb this year).

I dont know if this is relevant or not but now you know Smile. I know I need to see Gp but as I have been knocked on my chest twice today and its been so sore its playing on my mind this evening so if you would give me your opinion I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance :)

It's very common on the implant.
I suggest you phone the 'helpline' number that is on the card you were should have been given when you had the implant put in.
Evening primrose oil capsules can be a real help as a reliever of breast pain, so you could give those a try.
But do see your GP too if you are worried.

OK thankyou timetosmile, I shall try to dig out the card and give the evening primrose oil a shot too :)

I saw my GP last week for something completely unrelated and as I was there I asked her to just have a look at my breasts because one of them has been so sore, even though I can't see or anything wrong with it. She looked and poked me a bit and said that she can't see or feel anything either and she thinks it's probably hormonal.

Have it looked at by a GP, it'll reassure you, but it's very unlikely to be anything scary :)

Thankyou Naoko, its just playing on my mind a bit-nice to have some reassurance. :)
