witch000 I am also sorry to have hijacked your thread!!Blush but I can very much relate to how you feel at the moment. It's frustrating not getting answers.

No worries, mercibucket I understand why this bothers you so much. So many people just don't receive the correct dose of thyroxine, but I honestly feel it's more than that. I cannot blame all my symptoms on being underactive. I know there's more to it than this.

Groovee - it must have been such a relief to finally find out what's wrong with you after so long. That's all I want, just an answer to why I feel this way from the GP (it's not always the same one).

Hiya witch000, is that your tsh? It sounds pretty normal so long as it's not below the reference range of the lab used. Usually tsh is between 0.5 and 2, if it's over 3 it is within 'range' but you could have symptoms and in other countries you would then be treated.
How were the rest of the results and how are you feeling on the anti-inflammatories?
It's really important to keep going back if you still feel unwell. These were the first, easiest, probably also cheapest, tests to run, there are plenty more things the gp can look into
Hope you feel better and get some answers soon
