Would it be wrong to self refer back to gynae? Maybe TMI..

Have posted on here before about urology/gynae problems, particularly re. retention. Retention has cleared up now, leaving me able to go the toilet. Had urology yesterday who are going to leave me for six months, to come back then for a flow rate test (peeing on a comode followed by bladder scan).. Have now been basically discharged by both uro and gynae.

Had a labiaplasty for medical reasons back in October. Stitches removed by nurse in November, checked by Doctor in Feb for scarring and nothing visible. Am still sore, especially around incision/stitching lines, there's a thin lumpy line going round my bits where they were cut (was a wedge removal afaik). Have still got vulval cysts as well, about five surrounding my clitoris, which stil swell up with hormone changes/sexual activity. Have also got a lot of internal pain, there is a patch inside that feels totally different to everything else, almost like the pain if you rip the top of a blister and touch the skin underneath.

Also had a little bit of blood in discharge.

Mentioned discharge to GP on phone this morning (she asked me to tell her how uro went yesterday). She suggested maybe ovulation.. I am a bit baffled as it was a streak of red in discharge that came out in thick lumps with some white stuff (like toilet tissue)..

GP said if it gets any worse she might do a swab however I have had swabs from internally 20+ times, nothing ever comes back and they always hurt like hell..

So what do I do? Put up and shut up, or ask for more help?

Phoned local sexual health clinic tonight (who I have been to before, my previous gynae was based there) and they have said they do a drop in clinic on Friday mornings.. Would I be stupid to go? I feel almost like I ought to just put up with things now and be thankful they have done a labiaplasty (because it took from the age of 6 for them to agree to it), is it wrong to expect them to treat everything that's wrong?

You're in pain, you have some discharge with blood in it. If the local clinic are happy to see you then go. The urology appt was there an examination/investigation, could the blood be related to that? It can be difficult to differentiate between blood from the urethral area and vaginal area.

No, no exam or anything. I was wondering that too as it was after I went for a wee that I noticed blood but it was mixed in with the discharge, quite often get a lot of that after going to the loo for some reason. Am dithering over annoying to tommorow as discharge has now gone foamy with more white lumps..
