ds is 16 mtnhs and his bottom teeth have come in slightly crooked which i suspect is from his dummy...he mainly just has it at night
i supect that this wont mean that his adult teeth will be the same (unless, that is I can't persuade him to get rid of it until he is a teenager...!!!!)
but just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and can ally my 'crap mum' fears

popsycal can I assure you lots of babies have crooked teeth even without ever using a dummy.
He's only 16m, it's far too early to be in the least concerned .
You are definitely not a crap mum , unless you are dipping the dummy in crack cocaine

popsycal I was worried about the same thing in my dstwin2. At the dentist the other week I mentioned it but apparently toddlers teeth should be gappy and his, and his brothers teeth, were coming in perfectly.

Mention to the dentist and he/she will reassure you. I let mine use a dummy as it is easier to take a dummy away than if they relied on their thumb!
