A rather sensitive lady garden question :)

In the interest of not outing myself I have namechanged but am fairly regular and the question I have is a tad sensitive so bear with me Smile

I have a rather itchy lady garden area (on the inside) and on having a quick rummage Blush I discovered a long bit of extra skin coming out of my Blush lady area Sad.

Now I know it isn't anything I have put up there before you ask Smile but its all a bit not as it was. And I do have a slightly sore mild achy lower tummy.

I wondered initially if the itching had to do with the fact that I recently (a week ago) after an accidental contraceptive failure took the map. But that wouldn't explain the extra stringy like bit of skin. Blush Blush Blush

I should be going to the dr shouldn't I?

Hell.

Have you had a good look at the area with a mirror? Is it definitely extra skin and not just a misplaced flap? Is it to one side or in the middle? If its in the middle is it possible that it's a prolapse?

Its in the middle Sad

Definitely not a misplaced flap iyswim, its just there hanging but not painful Blush

Most women do have one inner labia longer than the other and certainly in my case it's more pronounced at some times of the month than others. Have a look with a mirror to see if that puts your mind at rest any and if not go to the doctors.

You say it's stringy - is there any chance it could be a misplaced tampon? Is there an unpleasant smell with it too?

JardindeFemme · 14/03/2012 11:10

Definitely not a tampon as am a mooncup user, and not labia, its definitely extra since last week Blush which is strange.

So it's not like you're unfamiliar with the feel of your vagina or are uncomfortable talking about it, in which case I'd say your GP is the best bet to have a good look and see if there's anything untoward.

I thought so Blush just didn't want to go Hmm not sure why though.
