I'm sorry, i've never heard of it. Well i have, but in a different way IYSWIM. My cousin had thickening of the womb, but hers was caused by taking Tamoxifen, so a different case scenario

I have no experience of this, but I'll help by bumping it up for you.
Also, here's some information from cancerhelp.org.uk HTH

Endometrial hyperplasia - This is a benign condition where the lining of the womb becomes thicker. If you have this disease you have a higher risk of developing womb cancer, especially if the extra lining cells are abnormal. Symptoms of this disease are heavy periods, bleeding between periods and bleeding after menopause. Your doctor may advise a ?D and C? if you have these symptoms. This stands for dilation and curettage. It means opening up the cervix and scraping away the extra cells. These are then examined under a microscope to tell if they are abnormal or not.

Yes, I found this:-

A condition where the endometrium (lining of the uterus) becomes overgrown, usually related to too much estrogen, or an imbalance between estrogen and progesterone. The most common symptom is abnormal bleeding.
