Dealing with burns

I have a burn on my arm that I got from the oven a few days ago. I stupidly carried on cooking instead of running it under cold water.

It's very red, unhappy looking and blister-y in the middle. What should I be doing with it? It's in an awkward place on my arm - right where you rest it on the table when you're typing which I'm sure isn't helping.

Any advice? My holy grail, the NHS choices website, only had advice for the immediate aftermath.

Keep it clean. Do you have an sudocreme? That would help it.
Cover it if it's in danger of being damaged, scraped etc, but otherwise keep it open to the air.
Try not to pop the blisters, they're keeping out infection.
It should improve over the next few days.
If it's really nasty or quite large, you could consider seeing a doctor about it.

Thanks Ruthchan sudocrem is a good idea. I will resist the temptation to pick at it! Might pop a plaster on during the daytime because it does tend to get bumped and scraped quite a bit due to it's position.
