And the dc2 is 6mo! I had some problems after nr2 & admittedly wasn't v good doing pelvic floor exercises. I'm trying to get back into exercise& leaving gym with a wet patch between my legs.

Trying to do pelvic exercises but worried this will never get better. Was ok a couple of weeks ago but worse recent couple of times...

Advice appreciated. Also:wld there b value in going to a physio?

Yes - don't suffer and soldier on on your own .
GP and physio .
They'll check that you're doing exercises correctly and advise .

I spent wasted years blaming my incontinence on myself - not doing enough exercises etc .Was really low .
But in the end turns out that the degree of incontinence I had warranted surgery to sort it out .
Wish I'd started the process - which is long ,you try exercises under supervision ,have tests ,wait for op - ages before I did .

I saw a documentary on C4 once (possible embarrassing bodies or something similar) that trialled different methods for fixing pelvic floor problems. The system that came out on top were devices that use electrical muscle stimulation - like a slendertone for your bits - there are details on netdoctor.

Still go and get checked out by your doctor in case you need a surgical intervention but if they suggest manual training aides - weights or a plastic squeezy thing - I suggest you just invest in the electronic versions as then there is no problem with doing it 'wrong' as the machine does the work for you.
