Anybody care to diagnose me?

I have had stomach pain on and off for a few weeks on my right side - around waist level. It has been more frequent the last few days. Now the pain has travelled though to my back. I think it is indigestion although Rennies aren't having any effect. I don't have a gallbladder (already been removed) and the pain is a dull ache with the odd sort of spasm of pain rather than excruciating (so I'm not thinking appendicitis). Do you think it is indigestion? I have burped about three times today Blush Smile but other than that my stomach is fine, no other wind or poo related problems!

Please, diagnose away.....

Hello! Thought I'd update. Saw my lovely GP - gawd bless her, may she never leave. She was great, she thinks I may be too well for pancreatitis but is sending me off for blood tests. The blood tests are for (it says on form) Creatinine and Electrolytes, Liver profile and Bone profile. She took my blood pressure which was 140 over something (which I can't remember) - sorry, it's probably vital you know that bottom figure which she said was the top of normal Range. I am overweight but I have never had high blood pressure. She's also given me some omeprazole to try in the meantime. So that was it, does anyone know how long it should take to get the blood tests back? GP wants to see me again next week. I feel very relieved she took me seriously- particularly when I told her I had had pancreatitis - she was not aware of that as she was not my GP then so I am glad I mentioned it.

My pain has mysteriously moved over to the other side of my spine now so still in my back, in the middle to the left rather than the middle but to the right of the spine. The place on my right/front side was still the most painful when she examined me. I'm also have some shoulder/arm pain which is blardy annoying but she said not uncommon with stomach things.

Anyway if you've read all that I thank you for reading my dissertation on the inner workings of my stomach!

Grin
