Mirena Coil - side effects, after removal

How long after the removal of the coil do you feel anyway less anxious. I had mine removed 12/1/11. Anxiety/Depression, couldn't cope, had pains in stomach whilst driving home from work, and just (excuse the language), but just exploded all over my new car, what a shock and very embarassing, just did not seem to have any control over my body.....

Anyone else with these side effects. most of the threads are very old, and I would be interested to know if there are still people suffering out there?

As my dr said, anything can happen. I had the worst period of my life and ended up in a&e on Tramadol for the pain. It went back in pretty quickly, I can tell you!

from my experience, you should feel less anxious within a few days, but the mood swings do last (its been about 6 weeks since I had mine out and I'm still snapping at my kids all the time). It's the devil's IUD, had a horrid experience with it

I am still very anxious, not sleeping, and still off work with depression... I am on ad, and I can only say I suffer from anxiety quite a lot, but never ever have I felt this way, with depression, suicidal thoughts and no apetite whatsoever, having to force feed myself, as I want to get back to work...
