alli diet pills - (less obvious) side effects???

I've just started Alli pills for the first time. I have an underactive thyroid, [increasing fatigue/hair loss/dieted solidly for 9 motnhs last year AND lost 1.5 stone, only to put it all back on [and more] in less than six months of more-or-less sensible eating ... ], so decided to try Alli, cos the Thyroxine doesn't really seem to be helping. I keep as big a gap between the alli pills and my thyroxine as possible.

However, I am now cold all the time, and my mood - after just 3 days of taking the pills, is pretty teasy [with DC/DH] and a bit down. Is this other people's experience, and will it ease off??

(BTW, my Dr was lovely when I asked his advice on Alli. He's nearing retirement, and joked ... "You never used to see so many overweight people, when we were allowed to presribe amphetamines". Oh for the good old days!)

Dieting can affect your mood, have you cut down on carbs as you can get carb withdrawal.
Did they warn you about the "greasy poos"? Can cause some unfortunate side effects if you eat too much fat.

have never tried Alli because of the negative reviews?...however i did try Nutrascience and would advice you NOT to give it a go unless you want to lose money! i went for the 'pay for the postage only' blurb though should have realised there and then i would pay for it later! I thought i would try anyway so sure enough the pills and patches(which i hadnt asked for) duly arrived. I gave it a go for the recommended time and lost absolutely nothing except cash!..I was debited £35 for the 'trial' period then another £75!!. I phoned to ask why they had debited my account for this amount of money and was told that as I hadnt cancelled/returned my order within 14 days(bearing in mind that they say it can take up to 14 days to work!) they had chraged me PER ITEM!..I quetioned this but was told it was in the terms and conditions!...however i re-read these and it does not say per item!!!..what a con!
