Sorry for the thread title!
I thought i would leave this for you ladies when you wake up and log on, any advice or past experieces would be a great help.

I have noticed today ds (16 months) has a very swollen, bright red penis. It doesnt seem to be bothering him and hes weeing, hes never had it before.
He has the dr on monday should i leave him until then or take him tomorrow? He currently has a very bad ear, throat, eye infection and a stomach flu virus could it have anything to do with that? hes also in antibiotics.

He also plays nude in the garden so im not sure if some dirt has got under his foreskin or something. I washed it in the bath before bed but i didnt pull his foreskin back he still to young right?

Sorry for all the questions hes the first boy in our family!

DS recently had a sore penis, and was prescribed some a/b's, but they tasted absolutely foul, so he wouldn't take them. It did get better on its own after a few days. BTW, just in case they prescribe it for your ds, the a/b name was floxacillin - one they use specially for skin infections.

Do you have skype? You can ring the NHS direct number for the cost of a local NZ call if you set up an account with them. HTH
