i will give DD it as my 1st child died of meningitis 18 years ago. David was 3 when he passed away to this day it still hurts to talk about it.

Oh gosh ap, I am so sorry to hear that. If I needed another reason to do it, that's it. xx

accidentprawn · 20/01/2012 18:52

rockstock, thank you. he was adorable. The last words he ever told me where i love you. no mother would ever want more than that, the doctor told me that if he lived he would have been brain damaged and possibly lost his legs.
he will be smiling at me from above as i write this. every day i wake up and he isn`t there, its hard but you live with it

never finished prev post as i started crying.
no parent wants there child to die before they do. he was such a lovely child. Each morning he would climb into bed with me and cuddle up.
we had to turn of his life support and that is the worst moment of any parents life hearing them say " can you consider turning his machine off?"

Oh sweetheart, I don't know what to say, I really don't. When my friend's daughter died 15 years ago she was a similar age to your lovely son and I can remember it like yesterday. He will be smiling at you from above, you and your family. I can't come close to imagining how truly awful it must be. I know when my DS was born (at 28 weeks) I refused to attach myself in many ways for the first 6 months as we just didn't know what would happen, I doubt that barely touches what you have lived with these past 18 years. Much love to you xx

Here is a list of the concerns for side effects. Its a US list.

www.cdc.gov/vaccinesafety/vaccines/hpv/gardasil.html

Personally, I would not be inclined to give this. There has been so little conclusive testing, and alot of side effects reported.

You have, condoms, smears, and teaching our children to value themselves and thier bodies. Most HPV infections clear the body within two years.

I am sure you can google it. Look up the manufacturer package insert.

Thank you fOr your sympathy. Had a good cry last night.
I wish when he had complained about the rash and pain we had taken more notice and rushed him to A&E maybe he would still be here.
I had dd 9 years lAter and she looks like David, her face glows when she smiles like his did.

At first I didn't love her as she remained me of him and knowing the pain you go through when loosing a child any sneeze we rushed her to hospital. He would be so proud of her. :(
