Is it worth giving calpol if they're being sick?

you could try, for the temp, give half a dose now, and the rest in 5-10 minutes, he will be more likely to keep it down

If you have them, a suppository would be much better, and probably easier to give. I hope he's better soon.

paracetamol supposeteries are probably the best thing to give right now. how old is your ds? they might want a recent weight as well as age of son to give him the correct dosage. oh just a note on him throwing up, try giving dioralite to stop him dehydrating.

they gave my dd paracetamol supposeteries when she was first born in icu, as well as all the morphine and other drugs she was on at the time. i'm sure they'd perscribe them for you if you went to your gp. everytime dd is in hospital they prefare to give her paracetamol through supposeteries as she is so sickly.
