Does anyone have any experience? Doctor believes I have this and have had it for three months, tests at the moment to confirm. Some tiredness plus very raw and sore rash on palm.

Thanks

A lad in our village had it and was paralysed down one side, pretty quickly after he had a tick bite, i think. It gradually wore off over about a year, poor thing.

Hope you get a diagnosis.

Thanks for your replies.

Shitmagnet - so sorry to hear that. Hoping your treatment runs smoothlynfor you.

Not sure which bloods she has ordered yet, I have an appointment with her Tuesday to find out more and will go from there. Think I have had it for 3 months so I am staying hopeful that they have caught it relatively quickly.

Wishing you the best Shitmagnet.

I had some strange bites on my leg a few years ago. I never saw what bit me though. I started to feel ill a few weeks later fluey and achey and then I had the bulls eye rash come up around the bites.
I saw the doc who agreed i had the symptoms but it she had never seen it before and wasnt 100% convinced as I dont live in a high risk area.
She gave me a course of the recommended antibiotics any way and sent me for a blood test slough she said it may not be positive even if it was lymes. But she gave decided to give me the recommended treatment rather than wait for the confirmed diagnosis as its so difficult to confirm but can be serious if it becomes a chronic condition.
The antibiotics did the trick though and I'm convinced it was lymes.
