Wheezing in a winter wonderland - The Adult's Asthma Support Thread

Hello, from our thread market research business meetings (ie netto and I drinking coffee in costa) it has come to our attention that due to the size of thread it is crashing on phones/ipads/netbooks. This means if in hosp as many of us often are then can't post, so thought a new thread would help.

Seems sad to be starting a new thread without pixie though Xmas Sad

So this thread is for adults with asthma to get support, advice and gossip.

Hope we all have as easy a winter as possible Xmas Grin

Link to old thread incase want to refer back - here

Been out of hosp just over a week now. Having good days and bad days. Coughing lots still, sometimes bringing stuff up. still on steroids - cutting down very gradually. We have snow here now so sure the weather not helping!!

Oh no I have a bunged up nose this morning, cold coming?! Best get ready to double the inhalers!

Does everyone have a flu jab?

NettoHoHoHoSuperstar · 05/12/2011 15:51

Yay, a non crashing thread Xmas Grin

Today is my first steroid free day in weeks, and I'm not too bad, though I haven't left the house.
My GP is worried about the side effects of steroids so has urged me to try without.

I have a flu jab every year in September, before the horrid weather starts.

Giraffes, how's the saline working for you?

giraffesCantDanceAtXmasParties · 05/12/2011 18:56

Oh yes peanuts doublt up then.

Yes had my flu jab end Sept/start Nov. did you have one?

Good luck without steroids netto, I still on mine. Its good, doesnt seem to work right away - is it supposed to? But does help when I get up and walk about fter. Xmas Hmm
