Is this Arthritis?

I have sort of fluid filled areas above my Knees (most noticeable when I have straight legs). Anyway my knees are sometimes painful also my wrists on odd occasions.
I have found it a bit "awkward" (My knee hurts if I try to walk normally) to get up and down stairs but I am managing.
Sometimes it's my left knee but today it has been my right knee.
one of my siblings has Rheumatoid Arthritis so I don't know if this would mean there is more chance of me getting Arthritis.

Also I had some blood tests in September and they came back with inflammation markers.(I don't completely understand what this would mean but am guessing something like Arthritis?)

Am considering visiting my GP again soon.

Sounds like it could be. They don't know what causes RA but there are indications that for some it runs in families. I have RA but mine just pitched up out of the blue when I was 19.
Is the inflammation bilateral (both knees) that is a classic indicator for RA combined with fatigue and morning stiffness.
Hopefully it isn't but if it's causing you problems it warrants finding out more. RA is better if it can get treatment early and prevent long term damage. It can be a very serious disease (mine is). There are lots of arthritis's tho (over100) so you are best seeing a specialist to get a proper diagnosis and treatment. If you are not satisfied with your Dr's answer push until you get something that makes sense to you... Because it's a fluctuating disease it can be hard to pick up .

Thanks for your reply.
Some days I do get tired but I've had anaemia so didn't know if the tiredness was just caused by that and not enough sleep some nights.
It is both legs that seem to be affected from one day to the next.
My Brother has had it since late teens too although I am 37 but have always had a bit of knee pain on and off but lately it really seems to be getting worse.
I think I may book an appointment for later in the week. (Too busy tomorrow).

I'm also creaky and I'm only 32!! I have hypermobility and my problem area is my wrists which are causing me a sort of nerve pain right up into my shoulder sometimes. My knees crackle when I climb stairs too.

I've recently been to the GP and will be going back next week for a full spectrum of blood tests. I've also been anaemic on and off for years but I think that's mainly diet and heavy periods to blame.
