I'm a microbiolgist so know a little about Pseudomonas (it's a bacterium) but I don't know a lot about it clinically. What I know is that it is an opportunistic pathogen i.e. more common in people with Immune deficiencies, having grown it in a lab it is smelly sorry. Antibiotics should sort it out, I would ask the GP to take a swab and check antibiotic sensitity which should tell which ones will kill it. It's very important to continue taking all the antibiotics even if it clears up as the bacteria could become immune to them. I don't think there is a definitive cure as such sorry. Maybe once she has finished all her ops she will be less prone to infections.

Wish I could say more but I don't know that much sorry, sounds like you are having a really hard time, bless her the poor little thing. Sounds like you are doing all you can already.

would you consider seeing a homeopath for treatment?DO you live nr london as we have the National homeopathic hospital here which is NHS.Personally i have never used homeopathy but people do reccomend it ,as well as treating the infection it could help boost her immunity.Poor little girl.

i had pseudomonas infection in both ears when i was pg. i didn't notice a smell, but it was incredibly painful. and wasn't diagnosed & correctly treated for 6 weeks, until i went to an ent hospital. gentamicin is the antibiotic which cleared it up for me, pretty quickly too, so maybe worth asking for if the one she's on at the moment doesn't work. i do hope it clears up soon.

I don't know if this might be of any help.

When I was pg with DD2 I developed an ear infection (not sure which form, sorry). I reacted badly to Eurythrimycin and Codeine (both innacurate spellings I should imagine) so had to stop after the first dose of each.

I took echinacea and used lavender essential oil in my ear and it cleared up within a couple of days of regular use, I also found the lavender very soothing. It might be worth speaking with an aromatherapist if you consider using these types of treatments.

Tea tree and lavender oils have been shown to be successful in combatting MSR (though I have to say, no more effective than 'conventional' treatments AFAIK) and I do believe they have a place in aiding treatment of infections, at least, they worked for me.

I really hope things improve for your DD, it must be incredibly upsetting.
