Dental or medical? Seem to be swallowing pus all the time . . .

As above. Can't spit the pus out, I don't have bad breath and I feel well. Went to the dentist this morning as I thought it might be an abcess, but no, teeth are OK. Went to doc a couple of months ago with a horrible green tongue Blush and was given gel/antibiotics and it cleared up. Any ideas? I'm thinking dental but dentist doesn't think anything wrong.

Where's the pus coming from? If you'd got a tooth abcess you'd know about it! I'd go back to your GP - it sounds horrible. Poor you Sad.

well i think if it was dental you would be in pain, plus the dentist has checked you out and said not.

it sounds more like some kind of nasal drip to me... where it's dripping down the back of your throat and you're getting some in your mouth. that's why you can't spit it out, cos it's too far back

thisisyesterday I think that's it! Have googled nasal drip and I recognise the symptoms. I have had a dental abcess before and I know it was painful, this just didn't seem 'medical' IWKWIM. Will make appointment to see doc - thank you.

you could try a neti pot. they are wonderful. buy at drug store, some come with packaged additives, is about the size of a little teapot. you run the solution through your sinuses and it feels so good to have the gunk out.
