poor sleep after 2nd MMR

Hi all, would appreciate any advice or wisdom on this subject...

Ds has been a pretty good sleeper to date - 7pm-6/7am since about 6 months with normal blips due to colds/teething and a long one after his first MMR at 13 months. This resolved after about 2 months but also coincided with 1st molars and canines coming through simultaneously

He had 2nd MMR 1 wk ago at 20 months (recommended 3 month after 1st jab in our area due to low herd immunity)

first night he was fine but since then he's been got very clingy and fearful at bedtime and Lunch time nap saying 'no bed'. He hasn't had a fever, is bright and chirpy otherwise and has been eating well throughout this time.
He will settle better when cuddled or cosleeping but I've never had to do this before - even when his sleep when pear shaped after 1st MMR he still was easy to put down to bed.

DH is HCP and sure this isn't due to MMR but I'm really not sure......

Anyone else had similar experiences?

quite possibly the MMR which makes him restless. The vaccine virus takes about a week to multiply and his immune system would be kicking in just about now. Hopefully this will all be ok within 3 days.

he'll now settle if I lie in a bed next to his cot and say lie down. but I had to do this about 10 times last night throughout the night- its like his brain just won't shut down. Admittedly his speech is developing like lightning at the moment and i've read about an 18 month sleep regression but the timing just seems to be more than coincidental.
