bazooka...often. keep at it and eventually it will go.

Try Wartner. It's a spray to freeze out the verruca. You can get it at Boots if you ask at the counter. Quite expensive but does the job.

My DD had a verucca earlier this year and the doctor gave us Salactol for it. (It's liquid that you paint on in a little brown bottle). It worked very well, though it probably took 1 or 2 months to get rid of the verucca. But it hasn't come back.

I have had freezing treament for a couple of veruccas for a year now. The specialist reckons that really the only effective way of getting rid of them is the body's own natural defences, ie the immune system needs to "wake up" and get on with getting rid of them itslef.

tea tree oil.

If it isn't causing her any pain then leave it alone. Eventually body will get rid itself.

dd6 had one earlier in the year. Doc said to leave it but we went back because it was so painful for her. He gave us something in a brown bottle to paint on. One tip we discovered was to put vasline in a circle around the verucca (we used cotton buds for this) before you put the liquid on and this stops the acid(?) from killing the surrounding healthy skin. Good luck

I'm not of the "leave it to go on it's own" school of thought as you end up with the whole family being infected if you're not careful. I was sick of the extra washing (bathmat and towel every day).

If you feel the need to get rid a verruca - the best person to advise is a chiropodist. My DS2 did have a very painful verruca and it was treated really. GPs tend to give out stuff which can cause damage to surrounding skin if you are not careful. Chiropodist pares away the dead verruca and treats it precisely. It was him who advised leaving non painful ones alone which I have done with DD.
