I am very stressed at the moment and now have a stitch like pain in my side. It hurts all down my back as well and I am so tired I could cry. I will get a break tomorrow when I have to go to hospital.

I couldn't do the boxing as I fell the other day and have hurt my arms. I am a lost cause Hmm.

DH came home. I have to go to hospital today to get a sleep monitor so now the inlaws are having the kids while dh takes me and then dh will stay at home.

LoveBeingAtHomeOnMyOwn · 24/08/2011 12:35

Did you go to your gps? Did you talk about all the other stuff?

TheOriginalFAB · 24/08/2011 12:37

I said the kids stressed me out last night and had an asthma attack and then the same today. Talking isn't easy tbh.

This is the first full on asthma attack I have had since diagnosis and I knew I needed help. I am a bit in denial that I have asthma but not anymore.

LoveBeingAtHomeOnMyOwn · 24/08/2011 17:59

I meant talking to the gp about everything that's going. They can't help you if you aren't honest, leaving out things takes them in the wrong direction. Your attack is a symptom of another problem/issue whatever you want to call it.

TheOriginalFAB · 24/08/2011 18:15

I knew my attack was because of the stress of the kids behaviour but tbh I could hardly talk. I told the doctor that I was stressed because of the kids behaviour last night and then again today but the GP I saw isn't one to delve and I couldn't say anything else. I do have other stuff going on but the children were the reason this time and I did tell him that. He was frustrated I didn't know if I have ever had penicillin. I didn't feel I left anything out tbh.

My breathing is slowly getting back to normal and MIL has phoned to take the kids for the day tomorrow. DH will take them and bring them back, working from home inbetween. Tonight is my first night with the sleep monitor on so it is all happening for me HmmSad.

if you have a bit of time to yourself this can help
close the curtains and light a candle - sit down and watch the candle flame
and your breathing should calm down

TheOriginalFAB · 24/08/2011 19:53

I haven't taken any seretide yet. I was too scared to take it without a spacer as I can't deal with thrush as well.

Please take the seretide. It's much more important to get your breathing under control. I've used seretide and haven't got thrush from it:)

TheOriginalFAB · 24/08/2011 21:27

I have only just thought to read the label after seeing your posts and it says to take 2 puffs twice a day until doc says stop. I will take 2 now.
