Have developed plantar fasciitis after joining gym 2 months ago (seems v unfair having finally decided to get fit!) Was advised to get insoles for shoes which have done (got from specialist running shop)but since wearing them for last 2/3 weeks have developed knee, hip and major back pain on same side as affected foot. Rang a bowen technique practitioner yesterday to make an appointment (she seems to have lots of experience) and she says insoles may not help and could be exactly the wrong thing to do. Aargh - spent £50 on them! Anyway going to see her next week but in the meantime anyone got any experience?
