3yr old ear infection for 2 months, lots of green discharge. Wont get better

This cant be normal can it?? My dd has had an ear infection for 2 months now, she has had 3 courses of anitbiotics, she has just finished the 3rd course today. But still her little ear pours out loads of green discharge.

I will take her to the doctors again tomorrow, I cant send her to school like this, even though the Doctor said it was fine to, It looks horrid. I clean it up all day, but within an hour its back to normal, it gets in her hair, and it smells.. doctors have told me it's not glue ear..
She has missed so much school because of this, when she does go, and I pick her up at midday and its crusted all over her ear and face.
Has anybody else had this problem with their child?.. Is there anything that can be done about it?. Anitbiotics just dont seem to be working.
She is always saying 'pardon' aswell when we talk to her, not sure if its a phase, but I will ask for a hearing test tomorrow.

Ask for an ENT referal. Always good to get it checked out.

My DS2 had 3 infections on the trot over 2mths with gunk coming out. First 2 times hr had anti-b's. Third time I tried garlic oil, it cleared up and hr hadn't had it again.

Simmer 2-3 cloves in 1/4 olive oil. When cool, drop some into ear, plug with cotton wool. Just do it every 5-6hrs or so. Keep the oil in cupboard in airtight container, lasts about 4 days.

(for later just put garlic in the oil without heating, keep in dark cupboard, use after a week of steeping, this lasts much longer than the boiled one)

My DS had this last year and GP gave him Otomise ear spray which cleared it after oral antibiotics had failed.

Hi - the gp should take a swab and send it off for culturing to find out the correct antibiotic to clear up the infection. I have had so many ear infections that this was what the ENT consultant told me I had to do as a child. Ear drops just slide off, but if you get referral to a nurse clinic at ENT (much quicker than to see a consultant) they can put antibiotic cream (can't get it on prescription the one I have but only at the clinic) direct onto the infected area as another option (works every time for me).
