It finishes with a diah & vom finale just to completely finish you off. The throat bit goes on for a while too.

Hope you and your dd feel better soon.

Kids at my DDs playgroup have been dropping like flies with it - 4 of them, DD included, were hospitalised......RACH said they were swamped with kids all with the same symptoms....

Its very grim.

Thats not good lara, hope DD okay now, how long were they in hospital for? Did they have sore heads with it too?

I wish I knew - one of my team at work got it two weeks ago and it's gone around in a flash. I was being really smug because it looked like I'd avoided it but no, I've had it for the last couple of days.

Everyone else is on antibiotics though, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed to avoid that.

I can tell you that it's down in the South West of England as well Sad

OP, thanks, DD is fine now. She was in RACH for one night, one poor wee boy was in for 4 days!

Yes she had a terrible sore head, sore throat, ears, raging fever etc. About the worst we have ever seen her. Our family GP referred us straight to the hospital when she was seen at the surgery.

Out of a playgroup of 22 kids, only 7 avoided it, and 4 hospitalised. It lasted for weeks, and left DD with a lingering cough for about a month after......

Hope you are all feeling better soon!
