SPOTS - help!

Jessi has come out with severe spots on her bum.... after checking her over a bit more thoroughly, there are also single spots on her nech, shoulder, foot and leg..... WHAT IS IT?

Worst area is her bum - covered in them, others are just 1 or 2. She has been really grizzly and not herself for the past few days..... anyone help????

what are the spots like? has she had any vaccinations recently?

dd got sweat rashes easily on her bum and back of her neck etc. she gets vey hot and this is what it was.

MMR was in september.

they arent like her usual sweat rash spots - a lot more angry looking.... just wondering if its a doctors trip tomorrow or whether just to leave it and see how it goes....

get lots of nurofen and calpol in and calamine cream is better than lotion

watch, the baby will prob get it next. dd gave it to my ds while he was still in nappies.

if baby gets it jsut going have to be very careful about her temperature, as she cant have calpol. keep a close eye on her.

babies dont usually suffer that badly jrsmum, it looks unsightly more than anything. There is a three week incubation period so she may get it anytime up till then.

really dont need this right now - just praying really hard that im wrong.....guess we will know by tomorrow.... my poor baby!

blisters = deffo chicken pox

if the spots have blistered it's a good sign. Means they are clearing up.

She could still get more. Once the spots have blistered and dried she's no longer contagious!

both dd's had them in june started with blisters

just 2 have blistered.... the rest are really red and sore looking.

you want to use piriton for the itching. Will call my friend for the name of the lotion that is MILES BETTER than calamine.

If you mean blisters like when you burn yourself then no, not c'pox. Could be something viral like hand , foot and mouth (not supposed to be on bottom though) or 5th Disease aka Slapped Cheek, are her cheeks very red ? or eczema (sp?)if you've used different washing powder, bath or cream for example.

the dr will proberbly give u chamomile lotion but I recommend the chamomile cream if pos as it doesn't dry and make the sores as itchy
